R.C. "Doc" Weaver: A Driven Pilot and Painter
R.C. “Doc” Weaver joined the US Air Force after graduating from college to pursue a career in the aviation industry. When he wasn’t flying, painting provided him with a creative outlet that greatly enhanced his life. In 1974, his final job before retirement took him to New Mexico. He left active duty in 1976, and since then, he has become a full-time painter.
Weaver enjoys creating landscape paintings. He loves going to places to paint what he sees, such as mountains, valleys, trees, and rivers. Sometimes, Weaver likes to work in his studio with access to all of his art materials. As an artist, he practices using different mediums such as oil, acrylic, and watercolor.
